1. Nature of the Service
ExamPrep is provided as an independent educational practice tool. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information may be collected and handled when you use the platform. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, you must discontinue use immediately.
2. Account and Transaction Management
Access to our premium educational tools requires account creation and wallet top-ups. We process your account details and transaction history (such as Star balances and purchase records) to authorize and maintain your access to the purchased materials.
3. Limited Personal Information Collected
We collect only the information necessary to allow user authentication, account functionality, and transaction tracking. This generally consists of a username, password, email address, and your internal purchase history. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.
4. Purpose of Data Use
Any personal information collected is used solely to operate, maintain, and process transactions for this educational platform. We do not sell, rent, trade, monetize, or commercially exploit your personal information. Your information is not used for advertising or profiling purposes.
5. Server-Side Data Storage & Optimization
Your exam answers, practice history, wallet balances, and study progress are stored securely on our server databases. To maintain a fast and efficient service, we employ advanced data optimization techniques, such as bit-packing and Base-5 encoding, which compress exam records to under 60 bytes each.
6. Data Loss and Backup Limitations
While your data is stored on our servers, we cannot guarantee its permanent preservation. Technical failures, server migrations, or database corruption may occur. We provide no guaranteed backup, restoration, or recovery mechanisms and assume no liability whatsoever for any loss of study progress, purchase records, or virtual currency balances.
7. Security Limitations
We implement reasonable measures intended to safeguard account credentials and transaction records. However, no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim liability for unauthorized access, data breaches, hacking incidents, technical malfunctions, or events beyond our reasonable control. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
8. Data Retention
Account-related information is retained only for as long as your account remains active or as reasonably necessary for the operation of this Service. You may request deletion of your account data at any time. Once deleted, restoration may not be possible and any remaining Star balance will be forfeited.
9. No Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, distribute, or disclose your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. We may disclose information only if required to do so by applicable law or lawful governmental request.
10. Age Restrictions
This platform is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted within a reasonable time after verification.
11. Policy Updates
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the Service or applicable law. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
13. Comprehensive Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that the operator of ExamPrep shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of study progress, academic outcomes, system unavailability, or security incidents. You acknowledge and agree that you use the Service solely at your own risk.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided strictly "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no representations regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
15. RSVP, Grammar Lessons, and Cloze Practice Data Tracking
To support your learning progress and customize your experience, we collect and store data related to your feature usage, including completed RSVP passages, customized speed (WPM) and text size settings, completed grammar chapters and quiz scores, and Cloze practice results. We also store records of virtual transactions (such as Star balances and spent recovery logs) in association with your authenticated account.
